White Sands observes Federal Holidays; even if NMSU is in session, White Sands classes will not meet! However, there are Holiday make-up days scheduled, usually on Friday. Your instructor will inform you of schedule changes.
-There is no Spring Break at White Sands; any student missing classes during this time is responsible for all material and tests covered. Your instructor has NO obligation to give you make-up tests or re-cover any material taught in class during this time.

There is NO automatic Drop for Non-Attendance at White Sands. You must officially drop or withdraw from your course(s) and complete the mandatory paperwork. You will be held responsible for all tuition and fees if you fail to do so. You can drop or withdraw here at White Sands or at Main Campus.

Down payments for classes should be made before the end of the first day of class. A down payment should be made even if you are on Financial Aid. The White Sands Office located in the Student-Lounge is open late during the first two nights of the academic term.
