3rd Annual DABCC Art Show - A Big Success

On April 29, 2005 DACC held it's 3rd Annual Art Show. This annual event showcases artwork by DACC students, staff, and faculty. It is a juried show in which ribbons are awarded for lst, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as for Best of Show. This year we were fortunate to have Dr. Margie Huerta, DACC Chief Excecutive Officer, and Sabine Trafimow, a local artist, act as judges. They had the difficult, but enjoyable task, of awarding the ribbons in the various categories of art.
This year, 35 entrants submitted 59 works of art. The media ranged from acrylic, photography, digital computer art, oil, pencil, charcoal, textile, wood, scratchboard, and art dolls, to mixed media and tissue paper art.
