October 25 - 26, 2005: Amado Pena Gala Celebration
On Tuesday evening, October 25th, Amado Pena will be the guest of honor at a Gala Celebration. A fundraising dinner will follow. An exhibition of Mr.Pena’s art will be on display. Art will also be for sale.
The following day, October 26th, Mr. Pena will meet with Lynn Middle School students in the morning. At 11:30am he will return to meet with DACC and NMSU students in the Commons.
Amado Pena has licensed DACC to use a painting of his for the purposes of raising scholarship funds through the sale of posters.
