COMPASS Testing Services
COMPASS Assessment
The COMPASS (Computer-Adaptive Placement and Assessment Support System) Assessment is a web-based computer software package developed by American College Testing (ACT). The assessment is used to accurately place students into appropriate Math, Reading and English courses.
DACC Central Campus (3400 S. Espina St., Las Cruces, NM) COMPASS testing times are 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. DACC Testing Services also proctors exams for students from other schools; fees included.
COMPASS testing is also available at each of DACC's satellite campuses by appointment.

Double-Check Test
The Double-Check Test is a math skill assessment developed by DACC's Math Department. It is available to students on the recommendation of their math instructor or if they feel their COMPASS or ACT math scores is inaccurate. The double-check test is available by appointment only at the Central Campus.
