Services for Students with Disabilities
HOW TO GET ASSISTANCE
To get help, you’ll need to do two things:
- Identify yourself. We cannot help you until you tell us that you have a disability, or that you suspect you might have one. All information is held strictly confidential and will not be shared with other individuals or agencies without your written consent.
- Ask for Services. Tell your instructors that you are interested in Services for Students with Disabilities, or talk directly with us. Together, we can determine the best combination of services and equipment to help you reach your goals! Since it will take time to coordinate the services you need, please register for the program as early as possible. You will need to complete the Student Intake Form and the Petition for Services for Students with Disabilities form and return both with the appropriate documentation* for evaluation and review.
*Documentation signed by a physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, audiologist, or educational diagnostician.
